Orientate is a Laterality Recognition Program that is part of a Graded Motor Imagery rehabilitation program designed to treat pain and movement problems. This program focuses on the ability to identify left or right, which is known to be impaired in stroke patients, as well as patients with CRPS/RSD and phantom limb pain. The program provides images of hands and feet in different positions and postures, spanning nine levels and over 1,500 images.

Research has shown that individuals suffering from pain have slower and less accurate left/right discrimination abilities, which is directly linked to their level of pain. Orientate has been specifically developed to measure this ability and aid in retraining the brain.

In addition to stroke patients, Orientate can also be beneficial for individuals who have lost the ability to recognize a complete left or right hemisphere. As part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program, Orientate helps retrain the brain to see and recognize the missing hemisphere, aiding in the remapping of the brain.
