OrelPay is a payment solution that facilitates transactions via the LankaPay network with the use of smartphones between customers and merchants. It eliminates the high cost incurred by third-party payment verification agencies and expensive equipment.

The application is integrated with the mobile payment service of the bank. If both parties hold accounts in the same bank, the transaction takes place as an account to account fund transfer. Alternatively, if the parties hold accounts in different banks, the transactions get facilitated through the LankaPay network.

OrelPay is designed to work with the mobile payment service of the bank that the user wants to use for their transactions. This eliminates the need to change the mobile number of the user.

The application is designed to work with a smartphone that has the OrelPay application installed. It is not compatible with Android mobile devices that use a different operating system than Android.
