The app uses modern text recognition algorithms to scan all Brazilian law journals and find any mentions of the user's name or OAB number, sending notifications to their phone when new publications are found. Users can view the notifications directly in the app and mark them as read or unread, as well as favorite them for future reference. Additionally, users can access their notifications on the OPTCLIPS web version, and all actions taken on the app are synced with the web version. The app also includes a calendar feature, allowing users to view any missed notifications on specific dates. The free version of the app has a limit of 10 notifications per month, while the paid version has no limit. However, during the beta phase, all users have unlimited notifications.
