Operation Zero is an engaging top-down run-n-gun arcade shooter that blends sci-fi elements with comedic undertones. Players take on the role of TASKILLER, a bio-engineered super-soldier tasked with combating a rogue artificial intelligence threatening New America. The game features eight distinct missions, each comprising five to seven levels, where players navigate through various environments such as forests and underground bases. The gameplay is designed to evoke nostalgia for classic arcade titles from the late 80s and 90s, enhanced by twin-stick controls that can be customized to suit different play styles.

In addition to the main campaign, Operation Zero offers an Arena Mode, providing an infinite gameplay experience where players can test their survival skills against relentless waves of enemies. The game includes randomly generated levels for added replayability and a variety of weapon power-ups that can be stacked for unique combinations. Players will also encounter narrative moments throughout the game, adding depth to Taskiller's journey and revealing that not everything is as it seems in this futuristic world.
