Operation Metro Mod for Insurgency: Sandstorm Review

Operation Metro is a free mod for Insurgency: Sandstorm, bringing a reimagined version of the iconic Operation Metro map from Battlefield 3. The mod features the interior of a metro station and surrounding city area, with a focus on maintaining the original layout while introducing new elements such as an additional left flank and larger scaled areas. As a work in progress, it continues to evolve with updates aimed at improving performance and gameplay experience.

The mod includes various game modes including Checkpoint, Team Deathmatch, and Domination, among others, catering to diverse player preferences. The latest versions have seen the addition of new checkpoints, optimization of map models, and various texture fixes. Despite some known issues such as lighting problems and crashes in hardcore mode, the mod offers an engaging experience for fans of tactical gameplay.
