Spotlight on One Phonics is an Android app developed by Bricks Education, designed to help elementary students build their basic phonics concepts. The app is based on an intensive phonics book of the same name, which systematically introduces students to the essentials of phonics, starting with the sounds of the alphabet and short and long vowel sounds, and progressing to letter blend sounds. The app features five main contents: Alphabet Letters & Sounds, Short Vowels, Long Vowels, Double Letter Consonants, and Double Letter Vowels. Additionally, the app offers five features, including Sound, Story, Song, Flashcard, and Game. Children can strengthen their letter-sound recognition skills through singing chants, practice decoding and sight words skills through reading phonics stories, and learn phonics words through sounds and images. The app also includes fun games to review phonics sounds and words.
