Omnistar is a puzzle game developed by an independent developer, Rick Adamas, for desktop plays. You will take the role of a hacker that was hired by the resistance. As many others already failed, you will attempt to be the first and only one to take down the OMNISTAR—worldwide intrusive surveillance net that encircles the planet with satellites in orbit of around 20 of the world's most prominent cities. A secret message awaits for you once you succeed. 

Dismantle the OMNISTAR

Your main goal in this game is to dismount the OMNISTAR and make its system status go down to 0%. To begin your mission, a login prompt will appear. However, it contains no essential information regarding what accounts are valid so, you have to make a wise guess. Once you get in, you will discover that there are programs left on the various nodes. These represent the previous attempts, but no further details are provided on what each of them does.

A few commands are given for you to easily explore the game. If you wish to load a program into your workspace, use LOAD to launch it. SAVE will allow you to keep it into the node directory. EXEC will enable you to run it so that you can try to figure out what each program does. GO will give you the capability to access one of the nodes adjacent to your current node. Meanwhile, you can also determine how long you have been logged in through its TIME command.

You must be careful with your USER STATUS. Once the percentage reaches zero, it will no longer operate, and the game ends. You need to maintain each node and program present. There is a resistance member assigned for each node, and you can use it to monitor your progress. It can also help you whenever it can.
