Completing the tasks allows you to obtain experience, enhance your overall corporate performance, and advance to higher roles in the company. 

Another way to improve your overall performance in the company is through office upgrades, like buying office items and furniture, which boosts your productivity and capacity. Do not forget to make employees happy for the day by brewing them coffee that boosts their morale and makes them more productive. Once you climb the hierarchy high enough, you can hire an assistant to manage your work efficiently. 

At some point in the playthrough, you can establish your own company once you gain enough experience. Design your office and hire new employees based on what you learned as a corporate worker. Eventually, expand your business by taking projects to plant yourself amongst corporate giants. However, the game does not have background music or sound effects, making it less immersive.
