OceanVeil - Dive for Anime, from NOT A NUM LTD, is an Android lifestyle app that helps anime enthusiasts discover and catalogue series and movies. It provides a searchable database and personalized watchlists to track viewing progress, alongside seasonal and trending charts to spot new releases. High-resolution galleries, deep profiles for characters and staff, and advanced search filters support targeted discovery. Casual viewers and dedicated collectors can use it to plan what to watch next and keep organized records.

Helps you decide what to watch and keeps track of progress

OceanVeil centers on an extensive anime database with synopses, genres, and studio credits, so users can evaluate titles before committing. Personalized watchlists map to typical viewing stages and tidy follow-up actions:

• Plan to Watch
• Watching
• Completed

Syncs watchlists across Android devices when you sign in

Watchlist continuity relies on a user account, which stores lists and preferences so the same records appear on any compatible Android phone or tablet. That account-based approach removes the need to rebuild lists when switching devices, and it supports shared household use where multiple devices access the same viewing records.

Puts imagery and light performance at the centre of browsing

The interface emphasizes high-resolution posters, image galleries, and integrated trailers to make exploration visual and quick. The app is designed to run lightly on modern phones and tablets, keeping navigation responsive even during image-heavy browsing sessions. For users who judge shows by artwork and promos, the presentation reduces search friction and foregrounds promotional media alongside factual metadata.

Acts as a discovery and tracking companion, not a streaming provider

OceanVeil supplies trailers and promotional clips but does not host full episodes, so it functions as a catalog and planner rather than a playback service. An active internet connection is required to browse the database and sync data. The app is distributed as a free Android download and may display advertisements or offer optional in-app purchases for extra features.

To sum up: a cataloging companion for image-minded anime fans

To sum up, OceanVeil is a solid choice for Android users who prefer visual discovery, a view echoed by community praise for its aesthetic design and organized information. NOT A NUM's focus on specialized lifestyle apps helps explain the presentation choices. Use the app as your watchlist and discovery hub while pairing it with a separate streaming service for playback. Tip: enable notifications for new seasonal entries.
