Obusite is an indie game that will take you on a chilling adventure inside a labyrinthine creepy old house. Here, you will play as a small child who is attempting to escape the house. However, to do so, you will need to solve puzzles. Additionally, you will need to avoid being captured and photographed by the creepy man and become trapped in the house forever.

Obusite is heavily inspired by Little Nightmares and has similar gameplay. However, the beginning is not particularly exciting. However, once you get to the exciting part, the gameplay comes to its own.

What is Obusite?

Obusite is a tense stealth horror game. Here, you control a little girl who finds herself lost in a strange house. Throughout the game, she must find a way out. The catch is that a strange creepy man will do whatever it takes to trap you into his collection. You must avoid being captured and photographed. Once he gets your picture, you will be trapped in the house forever.

The game is playable with a keyboard. However, for a better experience, using a controller is recommended. More than exploration, the game also features puzzles that you need to solve to escape the house. Of course, you will also need to use stealth to avoid the creepy man. Note that despite being old, the man is surprisingly menacing. This brings some tense chase scenes in the game.

In terms of graphics, Obusite offers a very beautiful art style, with the characters looking stylized. Additionally, the level design is well-thought-out, presenting puzzles that range from intuitive to those that require more reasoning. However, as mentioned, the beginning is a little bit boring. Moreover, the soundtrack that accompanies the gameplay is not very impressive. Although, it blends well with the game's chilling atmosphere.

Overall, Obusite is a fun game, especially for horror game fans. It has a simple premise, but the gameplay is rather challenging. It also features a beautiful character art style and well-thought-out level design. However, fans of Little Nightmare will see various elements copied. There are also some issues that need refinement, including the stale beginning. Nevertheless, it is still worth giving a try.
