OBDII Car MPG Demo is a free utility and tool that works on Android mobile and tablet devices. The app requires a car to be OBD-II compliant, a Bluetooth Adapter ELM327 or compatible, and a minimum Android OS of 4.1 or newer. The built-in Bluetooth device on the phone or tablet must be enabled and paired with the Bluetooth OBD-II adapter. The app is capable of Auto-detecting the OBD-II protocol, displaying the description of the protocol used in the car. The DEMO version shows examples and detects whether your car supports MAF PID or MAP PID. The app features a screen arrangement that includes four small analog gauges for IAT, MAF, MAP, VSS, RPM real-time data reading, one big analog gauge for showing instant MPG value, and a table used to display the average (AVG) MPG, L/100Km, amount of fuel consumed in gallons and liters. The app also has two odometers calculated in miles and kilometers, and one tripmeter for time since engine start. The app has a logo indicating Fuel type (Gasoline or Exx), and a logo indicating either US Gallon or Imperial (UK) Gallon.
