The NSW Department of Education Staff Portal is a free mobile app designed to provide NSW DoE staff with improved mobility for their day-to-day administration needs at schools. The app is currently aimed at principals, but access is now available for all staff. The app is continuously updated with new features, and staff suggestions are encouraged.

One of the main features of the app is SchoolBiz news, which allows users to find, save, and share SchoolBiz articles and editions. The app also includes My Essentials, which provides quick and easy access to essential shortcuts. Additionally, the app offers a Contact Directory search, which gives users access to school contact lists.
