nRF Temp 2.0 is a free application developed by Nordic Semiconductor ASA for Android devices, which allows you to monitor temperature data from Bluetooth Smart temperature sensors like the nRF TEMP sensor. The app provides real-time and historical temperature data in both table and graph formats, and it can simultaneously monitor multiple sensors.

One of the most significant features of nRF Temp 2.0 is the ability to store temperature values in 5-minute intervals. The app also has an option to scan for temperature readings in the background, with a 10-second scanning period after each 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.

Moreover, the app provides various functionalities, such as recording temperature data from several sensors, adding sensors to a favorite list, storing temperature data, monitoring battery status and signal strength of temperature sensors, setting user-friendly sensor names on the phone, reading values from advertising packets instead of connecting to temperature sensors, and reading temperature values in the background if the option in Settings is enabled.

Note that nRF Temp 2.0 is supported on Android version 4.3 or later and has been tested on Nexus 4 and Nexus 7. This app has replaced the nRF Temp app, which is no longer supported.
