Classic performance

First released back in 2007, Novabench is one of the most popular and long-running benchmarking utilities around. Available for a variety of Mac and Windows based systems, the free software is a small download which scans a computer for a few minutes. Video cards, CPUs and drives are evaluated during this scan after which a comprehensive evaluation is giving. This includes actual performance, comparisons against similar systems and suggestions for fixes and repairs, perfect for checking an older or second-hand computer. Novabench does encounter some issues with newer AMD graphics cards and extra drives, however. Upgrades have also slowed with more recent benchmarking tools becoming popular. Some older operating systems are no longer supported.
