Notitia is a mod that seeks to bring the soldiers of the Roman Empire back in line with the Empire's political situation. It's based on the late-antiquity-inspired architecture and political situation, which is not something that has been done in fiction before.

It's a pretty nice-looking mod. It's a little heavy on the aesthetics, but it's a pretty good representation of what the soldiers of the Roman Empire would have looked like in the third to fifth centuries AD.

It's a little difficult to see exactly what changed. There are some stylistic changes that I think could have been done better. For example, there's not really anything that brings the soldiery of the empire in line with the aesthetics and overall political situation.

In any case, the changes are minor.
