aodNotify is a free utility and tool application that allows you to add a notification light or LED to your Android phone. You can customize the notification light styles and place them around the camera cutout, and screen edges, or simulate a notification LED dot in the status bar of your phone. Additionally, you can double-tap to wake the screen on the notification and use charging/low battery light/LED.

In terms of features, aodNotify offers custom app/contact colors, ECO animations to save battery, interval mode (on/off) to save battery, night times to save battery, and minimal battery consumption. The battery usage per hour is between 2.5% to 7.0%, depending on the LED mode. Without the notification light, the app consumes almost 0% battery. However, please note that the app is still in the beta stage, and errors may occur. Phone manufacturers may also block this app with future updates. Please check if the app is compatible before updating the phone software. Although the app has not experienced any screen burn-in issues on test devices, it is recommended not to keep the notification light/LED active for a long time. Use it at your own responsibility.
