NOMO CAM, formerly known as NOMO only, is a freemium photography companion tool for casual users. This tool empowers you to take top-notch pictures that require minimal or, better, no post-production retouches anymore. The output will look like an image taken from an actual 35mm film camera.  

With NOMO CAM, you can shoot free-of-charge as many analog photos as you wish and develop them just like polaroid films. However, to utilize other types of their camera, you must subscribe to NOMO PRO. Huji Cam also captures the same vintage vibe for your pictures.

Capture analog-like photos

Once launched, NOMO CAM will greet you with a neat and intuitive user interface wherein a small viewfinder cam will be displayed, granting you the analog film look. At the bottom, you can see all the main functions placed—the exposure button, flash button, gallery button, more cameras button, and of course, shutter button. Enabling the exposure feature will also automatically take you two photos with the ‘double exposure’ effect implemented. 

Moreover, the flash button will trigger the built-in flash tool of your device’s camera. Meanwhile, tap the shutter button if your subject is ready to be taken. After shooting, random analog presets such as curves, grains, dust, light leak, vignette, sharpening, frames, and so on will be applied to your shot. You can view the images you took by hitting the gallery button. 

Keep in mind the films can take some time to develop. You must wait for 90 seconds for its actual quality to come out. To speed up the process, you can shake your phone the same way you would do to polaroid films. The yellow-colored ‘more camera’ button, on the other hand, is where you can shop for more authentic types of film cameras. 

Minimize post-production retouches

NOMO CAM is an excellent but cheap photography alternative for expensive real analog cameras. In one subscription, you are entitled to experience a wide variety of classic original camera types that you can limitlessly use to your preference. The program’s output gives the vintage and retro aesthetic that a real 35mm film camera usually captures. Post-production retouches are now a thing of the past.
