Noise Dosimeter NIOSH OSHA is an important application to help you measure noise exposure. It provides information about the noise level, how long exposure occurs, and measures the level of the exposure. All you need is a personal digital noise dosimeter (Peltor TMD200), an analogue, digital or piezo sound level meter.

How does it work?

There are three ways of measuring sound pressure levels:

Analogue. Analogue devices, such as the TMD200, measure a number.

Digital. Digital devices, such as the P3A or P3P, measure an integer value.

Frequency. Frequency-measuring devices, such as the A.M.T. 1000, measure a number.
