Nocturnal Quest: An Idle RPG Adventure is a free-to-play role-playing PC game by developer Lunarade OU. It’s a dark fantasy idle RPG featuring turn-based combat and a deep itemization system that allows for flexible character builds. In it, players will embark on a quest across a dangerous land and form the most powerful team of adventurers. 

Adventures in a dark fantasy realm 

In Norcturnal Quest, you’ll assemble a team of heroes to go on a grand adventure. Pick from six character classes, each with two specializations and skill sets, and engage in combat that combines turn-based actions with real-time status effects. Fight more than 20 enemy types across six map locations using over 100 active and passive skills you can combine in different ways. 

The main highlight of the game is its itemization system, which allows you to enchant, reforge, and transfer stats among all your gear. A gem system and set bonuses complement them even further, making strategizing more flexible and direct. However, it does have its fair share of issues, including graphical glitches and game imbalance, that still need to be fixed. 

Potentially great 

On the surface, Nocturnal Quest: An Idle RPG Adventure has good things going for it, such as its hybrid combat experience, robust item system, and room for different character builds. However, the issues mentioned above, particularly the game imbalance concern, need to be addressed ASAP. There’s potential here if it can work out its problems.
