NMRss Trial, developed by PeriodicalApps, is a free utility tool available for Android devices. It helps you quickly check whether an NMR peak is a solvent. This app is useful for anyone working in chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, or any other discipline that uses NMR. The trial version of the app lets you open it 30 times, and you can look up as many things as you want during each use.

The app includes all common lab solvents/grease and the most common deuterated solvents. To use the app, you need to select your deuterated solvent from the dropdown menu. If you want to see the proton shifts, you don't need to do anything. But if you want to see the carbon shifts, press the toggle button (1H) to see the 13C shifts, and vice versa. If you have a signal you are looking for, you can enter a range (from -> to) and press 'search.' Any shifts within that range will be highlighted red.
