Nidhogg 2 is a video game for Windows, Mac and Playstation operating systems and the sequel to the original, Nidhogg. A two-player side-scrolling game, players duel with swords in a tug-of-war style of gameplay. The first to reach the other side of the screen wins. It’s simplicity and intuitive gameplay makes Nidhogg an addictive game and one that you won’t be able to put down.

Easy and fun to play

Nidhogg 2 takes what the original created and builds on it to cultivate an even more addictive gaming experience. Like in the original, players can jump, run, slide, throw punches and throw their swords in an attempt to defeat their opponent and reach the other side of the screen. Players can change the level and height of their sword to three different positions and hitting the opponent’s sword while changing disarms them. Before they respawn, you have the ability to make a dash for their zone.

Play with friends

Nidhogg 2 features four different levels, each one with its own unique design. Single-player, multiplayer and online multiplayer capabilities are also featured and mean you can play alone, with a friend or with a friend online. Though it’s simple in concept, it’s a highly addictive game that can be played time and time again. It may be easy to learn, but to master, it takes time.
