Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a Japanese role-playing game based on a Japanese manga of the same name. The story takes place in an alternate reality, where the hero's mother has been kidnapped by witches. The hero is sent on a journey to save his mother, but first he must find out what has happened in this world. He finds out that the world is not as peaceful as it seems and that there is a lot of magic, monsters, and evil creatures.

On his journey, the hero meets many challenges and enemies. Some of them he must overcome to continue his journey, while others are permanent obstacles. Along the way, he finds out more about the world and his mission.
