You’ll find the usual features in the Newport Group app. There’s the dashboard that contains My Forecast, Balances, Performance, Transaction Activity, and Statements. My Forecast shows your monthly balance goals and how much you’re missing to reach it. Balances show your amount of money in your plan while Performance shows the graph route that your money goes through in Transaction Activity. There’s also the Contact and the Information sections that let you reach out to Newport Group and see your other financial details. 

However, for all the sleekness of the app’s interface, it actually underperforms for its users. Much of its issues lie with frequent crashing—you’ll be logged out of the app a lot every time you check a section. While Newport Group is supportive of its members, its app doesn’t make you feel the support at all. You’ll be better off using the website itself if you’re doing important transactions.
