The Netskope Chrome Extension is a free add-on tool that enforces Netskope Cloud Explicit Proxy for Netskope customers. This extension requires the user to provide their Netskope tenant name and configure SAML Forward Proxy in their Netskope tenant. Additionally, the Netskope root CA for explicit proxy needs to be imported as trusted.

With this extension, users can switch between Netskope tenants that they have access to, enable or disable steering through Netskope Cloud Explicit Proxy, and enforce tenant and steering through Chrome managed extension policies. Users can also set a PAC file URL or PAC data through managed extension policies, and restrict the operating systems on which the extension works.

Managed policies for this extension include pre-configuring the tenant name, specifying PAC file contents or URL, defining a bypass list of domains, selecting the operating systems for the extension to operate on, and removing the disable steering checkbox.
