Developed by researchers at the Aalto University, Department of Communications and Networking, this app provides approximations of your network connection's performance.

The application works seamlessly in the background of your phone with minimal data and battery consumption. It provides visually appealing graphics that indicate area-specific network performance for video, voice, music, gaming services, and more. In addition, you can view your personal upload and download speeds and signal strength maps on both cellular and Wi-Fi.

With Netradar, you can test your network quality in just a few seconds, wherever and whenever you want. The app generates a report with details of your network connection, including download/upload speeds, signal strength, frequency used, and latency. You can even see the performance of your cellular and Wi-Fi networks on a weekly basis with average download speeds per day.
