Netflix Fixer for Linux is a Firefox add-on that optimizes the streaming experience of Netflix on Linux and Unix-like systems. This subscription-based multimedia tool is built on advanced WebExtension and ES6 technologies, requiring Firefox version 48 or higher for effective use. It specifically addresses the compatibility challenges posed by Netflix's reliance on Microsoft Silverlight, which lacks native support on Linux platforms.

To facilitate streaming, users must also install Pipelight, which allows Silverlight to function within the Firefox browser using WINE and NPAPI technology. Additional features include the ability to spoof the user agent string, helping users bypass access restrictions for Linux. With planned regular updates, Netflix Fixer for Linux aims to maintain compatibility with the latest Firefox versions, ensuring a reliable viewing experience for its users.
