Net iD Client is an extension that allows you to connect a website with your local computer, using the web browser’s native messaging interface. It does not require any installation on the client computer;

The interface is similar to that of a native messaging application. The settings allow you to configure how often the extension is enabled and which websites you can use the extension with. The extension uses an external script, which has to be provided by the website developer.
