NCBI Search is a free Chrome add-on developed by b romney that allows users to conveniently search the NCBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information) library directly from their browser's toolbar. With this add-on, users can easily access the vast resources of the NCBI without having to navigate to the website manually.

To use NCBI Search, simply type "ncbi" (in lowercase) in the URL box of your Chrome browser, and a search will be opened in the NCBI databases. This add-on provides a quick and efficient way to search for scientific and biomedical information without the need to visit the NCBI website separately.

It's important to note that at the moment, advanced searching capabilities are not available in this extension. However, if you have any feedback or enhancement requests, the developer welcomes your input. NCBI Search is not affiliated with the NCBI, but it serves as a useful tool for accessing their library of resources conveniently.
