The National Car Rental app is a free travel and navigation app available on Android. The app is designed to help users take control of their rental experience on the go. As an Emerald Club member, profile details are automatically applied to the reservation to save time. The app offers access to current and upcoming trip information, past rental history, and detailed receipts. Users can search for National locations worldwide and view location details, including business hours, addresses, and phone numbers. Additionally, users can contact roadside assistance or 24/7 customer support and access frequently asked questions.

Reservation assistance provides timely and essential information about the rental, while Emerald Club members can manage their profiles, view their progress to the next tier, and credit towards free rental days. Users can also extend their rental directly from the app by selecting a new return date and time. With Emerald Checkout, users can take control of their rental experience at Emerald Aisle locations by scanning a vehicle in the aisle, confirming rental options, and accelerating the exit process with a virtual pass barcode.

By clicking on the "Install" button, users consent to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, including access to or storage of performance and usage of device and/or app-related data for analytic purposes by National Car Rental or its third-party providers. Overall, the National Car Rental app offers speed, convenience, and control to users on the go.
