Visit your friend in this 2D dollhouse game
My City: My Friend's House is an educational 2D dollhouse mobile video game wherein you get to play with your neighborhood friends. Set in the digital open world of the various My City games, My City: My Friend's House contains new locations and characters, and has a friend’s home as the setting. Similar to the other games in this series, everything is fully interactive and there are tons of items you can play with.
Designed for ages 4 to 12, My City: My Friend's House features a house setting that’s similar to My City: Home and My City: Mansion. This time, you get to visit your friend or neighbor’s place and hang out there. There are 8 cool new places to check out, like the hidden cinema and arcade room. There are also 20 new characters you can play with and you can dress them up and choose their expressions.
In My City games, you move around paper-doll-like characters of different looks, genders, and ages, and you interact with the world and your characters by dragging or tapping them. The screen can be scrolled left and right to move through the various locations of the game—and there’s also multi-touch support for playing with others. The game is highly replayable, however, you shouldn’t expect any cutscenes or independently-moving characters.
What’s great about this life simulation game is that you can connect it with the others in the series, allowing you to share characters between games. Moreover, you get free updates and there are no ads whatsoever, as you just have to buy it once. It’s designed to be safe and educational for children so you can just leave them to play with the app. There are even daily rewards for regular players who log in every day.
My City: My Friend's House is a great addition to your collection of My City games. While it doesn’t add any fascinating new locations to visit or cool new items to try out, it fleshes out some of the other games’ settings—which make for better role-playing for kids. Perhaps one of its few flaws is the lack of animated objects or characters that move on their own. You really have to do everything yourself here.
