My Child Lebensborn is a simulation game by Sarepta Studio. This game takes you back to the post-World War II era, wherein you will play as an adopted parent of an orphan. Your goal is to ensure that the child is fed, clothed, entertained, and protected using your meager income and limited time.

What is My Child Lebensborn?

During World War II, a few thousand children were born to Norwegian women, fathered by German soldiers occupying Norway. The Nazi regime viewed these children as essentially German and launched a program called Lebensborn (Fount of Life). This program uprooted the children to indoctrinate and raise them in Germany. However, after the defeat of the Nazis, they were sent back home. Making things worse, their mothers often gave them up for adoption.

In My Child Lebensborn, you will play as one of the adoptive parents of these children. Here, your goal is to raise Klaus or Karin—you can choose the gender of each character. The gameplay will remind you of Pou or My Talking Tom at first, wherein you will feed, bathe, and take care of your child overall. However, the game will offer an experience that is way more in-depth.

As mentioned, the game comes with various heavy scenes. Rooted in the real-life experiences of Lebensborn children, it tells how our continued hatred creates victims even after victory. Here, your adopted child becomes bullied due to her parentage, transforming the once happy child into a sullen and distrustful one. As such, you will be further challenged to influence the child's feelings, personality and worldview through your choices.
