You only need to choose the transition type between each audio file and set the transition time. You can also choose to cut the first and last seconds of each mixed song. 

The app lets you control how you mix the song using five buttons only—Back, Stop, Play, Pause, and Next—with each button representing a mixing way. The mix effects are set by default, so you don’t have to do that yourself. However, while it offers added convenience and makes your mixing faster, it limits the way you create your sound and does not gives you creative freedom. 

Another thing that you will like about the MP3DJ app is its multiple soundcard support for the same computer. This feature gives you the ability to work with two sessions of the applications and create two versions of the same mix, one for the speaker's output and one for the headset output. You can also use this feature in playing several channels or playlist of mixed music from the same computer at the same time. You only have to drag and drop files between windows to move songs from one channel to the other. 

Drawbacks

MP3DJ may be one of the easiest audio editing applications available, but it is quite hard to say if this is a good tool when compared to programs with similar features. For one, with what function it offers, it can be a bit expensive. Also, while its interface is simple, it can is hard for the user’s eyes. The design is outdated and too colorful with all its neon-colored buttons. Its black background did nothing subdue the splash of colors of the buttons. In fact, it only makes them harder to the eyes.

The app also offers a scan files option which you don’t actually need since you could easily open the files manually. Besides this, the app gives you a choice to open playlists but not folders. Some of the song lengths are also displayed wrong. 

More of a Student’s Project

Taking everything into consideration, MP3DJ seems more like a student’s project rather than professional software. While the app offers an easier and faster way of mixing songs, it has a lot of drawbacks that will make users turn to more feature-rich audio applications. More so, the app has a lot of limitations that hinder you from creating your own sound. This app may be helpful when you are in a hurry to mix songs. But if you are looking to practice your DJ skills, then you probably should try other applications.
