In this photography application, you will be able to do a live record of datamoshing. For those who are not familiar with what datamoshing is, it is a graphic art style that is becoming a trend nowadays. This technique damages a video clip in order to create a glitch effect within frames.

How is it done

To start filming, you will hold down the capture button at the bottom middle of the screen and for effective variation, you must film a different video next. Your first capture will merge with the motion of the second one you recorded. The app offers two different preview modes in order to perfectly align the second clip that you captured—Contrast and Blend.

Keep in mind to never overly shake your phone while moving, as it can cause the pixels from the first recording to disappear so fast—you’ll end up getting cleaner results contrary to what you hoped to create. It would also be better if you could film in well-lit environments in order to prevent noise image so that the high quality of the final video will remain.
