Mortal MK1 is a free action title for mobile devices from Zomoroda Arcade. It's a fan-made fighting game that draws inspiration from the Mortal Kombat franchise, specifically the Mortal Kombat Trilogy that was released back in 1996. Through it, players will be able to experience the first three titles of the series.

Classic trilogy

Mortal MK1 is basically a fan port of Mortal Kombat Trilogy, which packages Mortal Kombat 1-3 in a single definitive experience. There are more than 30 characters to choose from. It also marks the introduction of the Aggressor Bar, a fighting meter that provides increased speed and attack damage for a short time once filled.

The game follows the classic arcade system, with a joystick and six-button layout to let players perform all kinds of attacks and combos. All that said, though, keep in mind that this is an unofficial port. As such, there are various bugs and issues to be had like inconsistent frame rates and unresponsive controls.

Interesting but flawed experience

While it's cool that it lets you experience the classic Mortal Kombat games on your mobile devices, there's no getting around the fact that it's still just a fan port. Nevertheless, it's a commendable attempt at replicating the original trilogy, and worth trying if you're okay with the aforementioned issues.
