Moodle Rubric Importer is a Chrome extension developed by Pol Muñoz that simplifies the process of importing rubrics from Excel files into Moodle. This unofficial extension adds an "Import Excel" button when editing a Moodle rubric, making it easier for users to autofill rubrics with data from Excel.

To use the extension, the Excel file should follow a specific format. Each criterion should occupy two rows, with the first column containing the criterion's name or description. Subsequent columns should describe the levels for that criterion, with the first row providing the level's definition and the second row indicating its score.

The extension allows for an offset at the beginning of the rubric to account for headers. It dynamically includes levels for each criterion until an empty column is encountered, and adds new criteria until an empty row is found.

Please note that this extension has only been tested on specific deployments of Moodle versions 3 and 4. It simulates the process of defining a rubric by programmatically clicking buttons, so it may take a few seconds to process larger rubrics. Additionally, manual deletion of cells may be required if criteria have different level numbers.
