What is ModernFlyout?

ModernFlyout is an open-source project based on ADeltaX/Flyout. As noted, it replaces the default flyout in your computers with a more modern-looking one. Thanks to its excellent implementation of Fluent Design and rounded corners, it makes your flyout look like a part of Windows 10 and Windows10X PCs. Moreover it is fully customizable. You can disable each module and change the position. You can even change the level of opacity and the session's panel orientation. The app also comes with light, dark, and high contrast theme supports. 

The program also lets you change the timeout of the flyouts, which is a great way to make it less obtrusive. You can even hide the Global Media Transport Controls (GSMTC), aka media controls for all apps, in just one tap. Moreover, you can add media controls, such as shuffle, repeat, and stop. With this, you can control the media you are playing without launching the app that plays them. 

The program is pretty straightforward. Once launched, you should be able to configure it from the system tray. The built-in flyouts will be hidden temporarily when you have this app running in the background. Don’t worry since you can always terminate the process and go back to the default UI. This software works on Windows 10 version 1809 and above. It also supports Windows 8+, but to simplify distribution, it will not support versions less than 1809.
