What is a mod? It is a piece of software which enhances or changes the functionality of a video game. For example, a mod may add new weapons, armor, or other items, remove an obstacle, or add new enemies. A mod can also make the game easier or harder.

How do you use the Mod Merger? The program detects conflicts in three phases:

The first phase is the most important, it checks to see if a previous merge has occurred. If so, it determines all files that have been merged.

The second phase is a simple check to see if any of the files are still missing.

The last phase is where the actual merging begins.
