Mob Psycho 100 is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotōge. The story follows an 8th-grade boy named Mob who has powerful psychic abilities, and the conflicts between his real and magical life.

Mob is an average middle school boy who has a friend named Shigeo, and he has a girlfriend named Tomoe. One day, while walking home from school, he sees a woman who is crying in front of his school. He is surprised to see her and thinks that she is in trouble. When he asks her what is wrong, she tells him that she is looking for her child, who was kidnapped by aliens. Mob helps her and, in return, she gives him the power to see the future.

When Mob and Shigeo save the child, they learn that the child is not missing but was kidnapped by aliens. The aliens are after the child, and they want to take him away from Earth.
