A post-apocalyptic journey through metal and fog
MI.N.S.K. is an adventure game that thrusts players into a dark, post-apocalyptic world where survival hinges on resourcefulness and resolve. Set in a future overtaken by toxic fog and decay, the game leans heavily into themes of mystery, exploration, and human emotion, blending action and survival in a dystopian setting.
In MI.N.S.K., you guide an android through towering ruins, navigating deadly dungeons and uncovering truths about the world’s collapse. With its sci-fi elements and atmospheric tension, it echoes the narrative depth and somber tone of NieR: Automata, though with a more grounded, survival-driven focus.
Machines bound by memory
In MI.N.S.K., you play as an android built by a lone engineer—one of the last people left in a crumbling city. The world around you is cold and hostile, shaped by ruins, poison, and the absence of life. However, your journey takes a turn when you encounter another robot, operated by a biologist. What begins as a solo mission transforms into a shared pursuit of answers and reunion.
A fusion of third-person shooter mechanics and deliberate exploration shapes the gameplay. From scaling vertical ruins to managing limited resources, the adventure constantly challenges your adaptability. Combat is strategically paced yet intense, while traversal and puzzle-solving push players to think before moving. Moreover, environmental storytelling subtly adds depth, making every abandoned hallway or shadowed alleyway part of the larger mystery.
Built with Unreal Engine 5, the game delivers strong visual detail—from dense fog-covered alleys to towering interiors. Level layouts are crafted for exploration, with hidden areas and branching paths. The music is minimal but effective, allowing tension to build naturally. It's important to note that the game contains extreme violence and gore. Additionally, as this is a playtest build, not all features may reflect the final version.
Futuristic narrative with emotional weight
While still in its early playtest stage, MI.N.S.K. Playtest already shows strong potential as a thoughtful survival adventure. Its careful pacing, atmospheric storytelling, and emotionally driven premise set it apart from typical action titles. Although it may not be for everyone due to its darker themes and early development status, those drawn to mystery and post-apocalyptic exploration may find something special here.
