Miniland Adventure is a premium action-adventure title for PC by developer Imilkowski Dev. It is an open-world survival crafting game with city-building mechanics for its gameplay. In it, players will be tasked with creating a homestead for themselves, as well as for other creatures living around them.

Similar to games like Stardew Valley or Terraria, Miniland Adventure gives players the freedom to approach the game however they like, letting them experience what it has to offer at their own pace. Some exploration and dungeon-crawling elements are added to keep things varied and engaging throughout.

The world, as you see it

In Miniland Adventure, you're basically in control of how you want to play and given the option to create your own adventure, so to speak. You start with a small patch of land floating at sea, and you will be tasked with building a habitable place to call home for you and the many other creatures that will eventually live all around you.

You get a new tile every day that you can place anywhere to expand your map slowly. This game features multiple biomes with unique environments, creatures, and resources. The latter will be essential for building structures like your house and help with farming. There are also dungeons to explore and monsters to defeat for precious loot and treasures to bring back.

Along your journey, you will encounter defenseless goblins, whom you can build homes for, and in return, you get access to their cache of unique items for trade. All that said, though, the game is still lacking in terms of content and things to do. Its free-form gameplay works against it since the lack of clear goals to work toward can feel a bit unsatisfying.

Build as you go

All in all, Miniland Adventure is a decent survival adventure game with an interesting premise. It looks nice and is chill to play. However, its freedom of play can't hide its lack of content and the shallow experience it brings to the table. Hopefully, this will be addressed with future updates. Nevertheless, it's still worth checking out if you're a fan of these types of games.
