MINES PRO is a free puzzle title for mobile developed by Lurpi and is a modern interpretation of the classic Minesweeper game that came out for PCs back in the 90s. It retains much of the same gameplay but introduces updated graphics and a more modern visual design.

Minesweeping

Just like the original, MINES PRO will present you with a grid-like board filled with cells. Each one contains one of two possibilities when you tap on it, with the first being a mine, while another is a number that indicates how many of said mines are adjacent to it.

The objective of the game is to clear the board by flipping every available cell without detonating a mine. Use the clues provided by the numbers cells to avoid the latter from happening. All that said, though, this game is pretty much the same as the original, just with a different look to it, so it doesn't do anything different gameplay-wise.

Same core, different shell

To conclude, if you played the classic Minesweeper game back in the day, MINES PRO provides a good dose of nostalgia, but doesn't do much else. Enjoy it as it is, but don't expect anything new or different outside of a few cosmetic updates. Nevertheless, it's still worth a play.
