MindSeize is a single-player action game set in a sci-fi world that lets players play as a robot seeking revenge against a criminal organization. This game allows you to transfer your mind into a robotic body, lead a team, and chase the group of criminals who stole your daughter’s mind and prevent them from continuously committing their crimes. Developed by Kamina Dimension, it’s available on PC and gaming consoles. 

MindSeize is similar to games like Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, Horizon Forbidden West™ Complete Edition, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, providing a Metroidvania action-adventure gameplay experience.

MindSeize’s story revolves around a private investigator, M.C. Fox, who is watching a criminal organization called “The Ascended”. As he chases them, he ends up being severely injured, resulting in him being disabled. Aside from this, his daughter’s mind, Taryn, was stolen by the group. Left with no choice, M.C. Fox created a team to seek revenge and stop these criminals.  

In this game, you’ll assume the role of an investigator wherein you’ll connect your mind to a robotic body called “MAG” and chase The Ascended. As you traverse your journey, you can explore four different and unique planets, unleash the secrets of each world, and survive the dangers that you’ll encounter. The combat in this game that you can use is MAG’s melee and ranged combat. 

Additionally, you can upgrade your MAG, and your weapons at the workshop, and do some side quests by communicating with your crew. Your team is composed of Morgan, Solomon, Kai, Sophia, and Ellie, who each have their own unique abilities. You can also buy various mods, weapons, and abilities that can bring versatility to your MAG. However, as the game focuses on defeating criminals, it doesn’t have a character development feature.
