miles' tones is a simple and free open-source application designed for singers who want to find pitches on their Android phone. It functions like a traditional pitch pipe, allowing users to easily find the right pitch for their vocals.

The interface of miles' tones is plain yet straightforward, resembling a piano keyboard layout. Users can choose between displaying sharps or flats. The application offers a variety of tones to select from, including sine, square, PWM, and more. Additionally, users can customize the sound further by choosing different envelopes, such as organ, clavier, or fade-in/out.

Originally created as a project for a class on Object-Oriented design, miles' tones is essentially a mini-synthesizer with a single oscillator and envelope. While the sound quality may not be perfect, it does work effectively. Furthermore, the application is completely free for users to download and use.

Please note that the developer, miles zarathustra, has been focused on other projects and may not have been able to provide regular updates or maintenance for miles' tones. However, there is a possibility of future improvements as the developer has been working on a more advanced synthesizer called OndeSynth, which may be integrated into the pitch pipe application for enhanced sound quality.
