MICHI-RADI is an Android-based application that provides real-time traffic information, including road closures, accidents, traffic jams, and estimated travel time. The app offers automatic voice guidance in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean, according to your current direction of travel and connected routes. The service is limited to highways managed by NEXCO Central Nippon.

It is worth noting that the use of mobile phones while driving is prohibited by the Road Traffic Law. Therefore, users are advised to check the app while the vehicle is stationary. The app uses GPS location information from your smartphone to accurately determine your location on the highway. To enable this service in the background, please set the use of location information to "Always Allow."

MICHI-RADI is free to use, but communication charges will be borne by the customer. Additionally, the display, operation, and functions may be restricted, depending on the model of the Internet connection terminal used. The information provided by this app may not be acquired or errors may occur, depending on the customer's usage environment, GPS satellite radio wave conditions, and radio wave base station conditions. Therefore, it is recommended to use an Android device with Android 8 or later for optimal performance.
