MetVuw is a weather forecasting app that provides you with New Zealand weather information. On the app’s home page, you’ll find several images of unusual and quirky weather-related phenomena. The satellite imagery offers nine monochrome satellite-derived panels of cloud images, which are shown in three-hour intervals. The app lets you browse, slide and swipe your way back and forward in time. The data found on the app is provided by MetService, with Metvuw doing image enhancement and Japanese Meteorological Agency taking care of satellite data. There are also selections for precipitation, temperature, wind and pressure.
