Metro Blossom: Choice and Dice is a free role-playing game that follows a high school student, Jin, who must find Mary, his last remaining family member, in zombie-stricken Seoul. In this roguelike RPG, the city is infested with pollen that turns people into Bloomers, otherwise known as flower-like zombies.  

In Metro Blossom: Choice and Dice, the subway is the haven in which people, including Mary, take refuge. However, she gets lost in the subway due to some unfortunate circumstances. As you take the role of Jin, it is now your duty to find and save Mary.

Find and save Mary 

Metro Blossom: Choice and Dice offers a story-based, nonlinear gameplay with multiple endings, depending on the choices you make and the path you take. However, only one track determines the conclusion where Mary is saved. So, be careful when choosing which subway lines to take. When you lose consciousness, you get thrown into a time loop with all your memories erased, allowing for new storylines. 

As you try to locate Mary, it is inevitable to come across Bloomers, especially when looking for food at convenience stores, which means you must be ready to face them. Worry not because you are granted abilities to fight them through a deck-building system. You must be careful, though. Bloomers come in different forms with distinct characteristics. You can either fight, hide, or flee. 

On a different note, this game has won a few gaming awards, placing 10th in the Google Indie Game Festival and ranking as a finalist in the Korea Game Awards Indie Sector since its release. It has also been selected as one of the Tokyo Game Shows. However, it is worth noting that this is not suitable for young audiences, as it heavily depicts violent and graphic scenes.

Here, you get skills through a deck-building system, letting you either fight, hide, or flee. This game portrays violent and graphic scenes, which are not appropriate for young audiences.
