This app detects ferromagnetic metals like iron, nickel, or steel, but it may not detect paramagnetic metals like aluminum and diamagnetic ones like silver and gold.

The app is not just limited to finding metals; it is also used by ghost hunters to detect magnetic disturbances produced by ghosts. You can calibrate the app to set the current value as 0 and then detect metals more accurately in your area. The acoustic signal changes its tone and speed depending on the magnetic field value detected and it can be easily turned on and off.

To use this app, you need to open it and move your device in an 8-shaped pattern to calibrate the magnetometer. Find a spot where the magnetic field value is constant and there are no metals or magnets nearby. Press the calibrate button to set the current magnetic field value as your reference. You can enable/disable the acoustic beep as per your need and start finding metals around you!
