Metal Detector for Android is a handy utility that lets you use your phone as a real metal detector. With this app, you can measure the magnetic field in nature, and it will display the value in µT (micro Testla). 1 µT = 10 mG (milli Gauss). The magnetic field in nature ranges from 25 to 65 µT.

The app works by using the magnetic sensor in your device to detect any metal that is nearby. If the value of the measured field increases, there is probably a metal in the area. The app is useful for detecting any metal, even if it is not in your body.

It is recommended to use the app on your phone or tablet with a device that has a magnetic sensor. The accuracy of the measurement is affected by the magnetic sensor in your device, and it is affected by any electrical equipment, such as a TV or a computer, due to electromagnetic waves.
