Merge Archers is a free-to-play strategy that puts you in charge of your own castle. This casual game lets you spawn stickman archers, earn points, and merge them to spawn stronger characters. The main objective is simple: defeat the enemy and capture their castle. With every turn, you aim and drag at the screen to hit the enemy.

Its simple yet colorful visual style and its gentle difficulty scaling make Merge Archers a thoroughly enjoyable game that doesn’t require much grinding. The main catch in this game, like Bottle Jump 3D and Stickman War: Infinity Battle, is its excessive ads.

Protect your castle and conquer others

Merge Archers thrives on the strategic prowess of its players. The chief objective centers around coaching a battalion of archers to shield their fortress from invading forces. The essence of the game lies in merging the archers to manifest more potent and formidable units that can successfully counteract the advancing enemy. The game comprises varying levels with escalating difficulty, prompting players to devise superior strategies to outmaneuver their adversaries effectively.

In terms of visuals, there’s not much to expect. It features stickman characters on both sides, perched on color-coded castles. On the plus side, this makes it easy to distinguish between in-game elements which work since it’s a casual game overall. Also, the game features some smooth animations that make your aiming mechanic reliable. All these are complemented by casual and relaxing elevator music.

However, the game isn't without its flaws. The primary concern arises from its extensive use of advertisements. Although ads are a common feature in free-to-play games, their frequency and duration here can be disruptive, potentially hindering the overall gaming experience. Additionally, the presence of in-app purchases may provide certain players with an unfair advantage, diminishing the competitiveness of the game for those unwilling to spend.

A relaxing medieval game

Despite the compelling challenges that turn away a lot of players, Merge Archers still has the potential to be an enjoyable game. The premise is straightforward and the graphics don’t deliver too much, which works well with its smooth animation and calming soundtrack. If excessive ads and the focus on microtransactions do not deter you, feel free to check this one out.
