MenuBar Stats 2 is a reinvented version of its predecessor. It now comprises five advanced modules for CPU, memory, network, disk, and battery. The menu bar offers instant information about your Mac’s health. All the modules could be attached to the menu bar. Not to mention, these modules would generate notifications too. For instance, the battery module would notify you of when to unplug or plug your MagSafe so that your computer’s battery stays healthy. To reorder the modules, you may simply resort to drag and drop functionality. Also, MenuBar Stats 2 has been completely localized in three languages: English, German, and French.

Plugin Support

Probably, the most interesting aspect of MenuBar Stats is the support for plugins. Plugins let you add modules of your own, such as modules for fan speed or temperature. The more plugins developers make, the more value you would be able to derive from this functionality. In fact, the five basic modules that the app comprises are actually plugins. Extra modules could be added with the help of the plugins manager. There is a 'separated window mode' that lets you look at the modules individually. Also, you may look at all the modules simultaneously in this mode. When in this window mode, you would usually have a lot more information to assimilate.
